If you portal to the western lands and go downshore you'll be going the right way to Sala I can't remember the exact exit but keep an eye on the room descriptions and when they mention the mountain just head whatever way they say it is.
2. Portal to the northern lands, it's one of the paths off the broadstream.
3. Triss was the only book with a hamster, his name was Mokug.
4. As far as I remember, he spoke normally but someone with the book to hand might know better. This doesn't mean there can't be a hamster on the muck with an accent though ;)
5. Find a place you'd like to build off in Mossflower and page #mail the person who owns the room saying what room it is, how to get there and what you want to build preferably. You can find out who owns a room by typing ex here in the room. It may take a little while to get a response depending on how active the builder is so patience is key.
There's also some good building tutorials on the site which can be found by going to the Land and Regions section and scrolling down to Building Tutorials :)
