Client Programs Links
Links to various MU clients that you can use instead of telnet.
Windows 95/2K/XP/etc
- ELFx Winsock
- This is an actively supported MU client. It is a shareware program, so if you like it, you are expected to pay for it!
- MUCKClient
- This is a free program (paypal donations welcomed). It's last release was in May of 2003, so it seems actively maintained.
- MUSHClient
- This is another shareware program that is being actively developed and supported.
- zMud
- Another very actively supported and popular MUD/MU client. It's also shareware.
Mac OS/OSX
- Rapscallion
- This is a project with source available that is now free and un-supported. Any of you MAC folks who like to hack at code, I suspect the author would be grateful if someone helped make this a great program again.
- Savitar
- An actively maintained shareware client.
UNIX GUI clients
- gMoo
- Client with quite a few features for the GNOME inclined.
- mcl
- Mud Client for UNIX. Development has pretty much stopped, according to thier site.
- SClient
- Another probably orphaned UNIX client. Last updates seem to be in 1999.
UNIX Text-based Clients
- Tiny Fugue
- This is pretty much the client of choice for text UNIX.

- Realms of Despair
- This is a large popular MUD. This page lists links to programs that work well with MUDs (which often work fine for MUCKs as well).
