Every citizen has a right to request this creature, who helps them form their case and argument. The Public Defender is there for those who cannot speak on their own, or just need a little help to not end up on the gallows. This creature is paid privately by those he/she defends.
Slaughterthane: Xerxes (Bane) Vasilis
Commander of the Goresinger division of the Deathforgers. De facto advisor to the Lord Regent.
Commander of the Guard: Trace
Commander of the Guard, defensive military head of Ruingate. De facto advisor to the Lord Regent.
Galesabre: Jessy Venin
Captain of the Ruingate navy, currently awaiting construction of a ship. De facto advisor to the Lord Regent.

They have special privileges not extended to civilians (such as a certain legal immunity). Split into two divisions with distinct roles, the Nightdrinkers and Goresingers (no set limit)
Goresingers: Official military power of Ruingate. Lord Regent’s army proper.
