Basic Rules
Some basic rules to keep Ruingate running.
There will be OOC rules, that must be followed, and they are listed below:
1. MUCK rules apply: Nothing to say about this rule. Ruingate is part of the MUCK. All MUCK rules apply.
2. Decency: Sure, we’re playing evil characters who love to pillage and enslave, but let’s keep it to the characters and the RP. Be decent, be kind, be tolerant, and be aware that at some point you too have been just as bad as whoever you’d like to smack.
3. Courtesy: Be polite. It makes things far easier. For example most areas in Ruingate are public, but try to respect others if they are RPing already, and ask before you jump in. However, courtesy demands courtesy, so try to be as inclusive as possible.
4. Levity: We are here to have fun. Fail to do so, and terrible punishments will fall upon you! ARG!
With exception to the first rule, these are not set in stone. We will not execute you if you join an RP you weren’t given express permission to join, and the thumbscrew is not the first response to cranky behavior. But give them your best darn shot. It’ll help make the fourth rule most possible to follow for everyone.
