From a leader...

I have to agree with Toni. Leading isn't always easy. It takes much time, patience (Icly and OOCly). It has its good times and bad times. Definatly having a char mingling with the other residents in a group getting to know them and bringing in a good deal of rp is definatly a move towards leading. Some can lead, some follow. Its hard to explain how to lead. To some it comes naturally, others can just pick up on it in time. Good luck with it. I hope this helped ;)

Tiv's right. Leading a group is an immense time commitment for all involved. The abbey in the books had a council of elders to assist the abbot/abbess for just that reason. It's very hard to run a group unless you're online every day. My advice would be to poke Merdez. He's got the connectivity thing down pat. He's mostly the IC leader, but he's got a lot of good points.
