Storm??

Posted by: Toni at 2005-03-02

I'm not sure anyone looks at this page, but could we maybe have a short TP of a storm? The first storm of spring, with pounding rain driving everyone inside for the day. It could be turned into something of a all-day party, as the dibbuns will need to be kept occupied, and everyone will probably be a bit nudgy stuck in one space for a long time. Fun in the kitchen I can do, as Antonia is heading towards being a Cook. Thoughts? Suggestions? I'd like to do this, but I don't really know where to advertise it.

Some food for thought...

Posted by: Toni at 2005-03-02

I'm hoping to start up a series of dinner RPs. Antonia is a cook, and she'll gladly lay out dinner if there are beasts there to RP eating it. Dinnertime is a great RP, there can be all sorts of personal chatter, as well as joys/complaints about Toni's cooking. There's a lot of opportunity here, and I hope you all agree!

I'm taking orders too, if you want something special...

Nutty idea....

Posted by: Samuel at 2005-05-11

How bout a big play in the Abbey? Perhaps retell the story of Martin the Warrior /but/ have the adults be Cluny's Band and the dibbuns be the good guys :) It may be a fun way of getting more people into the Abbey and have lots of fun!

Dibbun!

Posted by: luigi at 2005-06-08

Hello. I've been thinking of a dibbun character I would love to create and RP with, and I was wondering if he could find a home at the Abbey. Any feedback would be enjoyable. Thanks!

The Belltower

Posted by: Rogerandum at 2006-04-10

Finally! Professional help has arrived in the form of a mole named Rogerandum, who hails from a family of specialist stone-workers, brought back to the abbey by one of the returning abby-beasts! Work has begun immediately, and all that can help or even just lend a pair of strong paws are encouraged to lend them to Redwall's deligent new guest as he works feverishly to right the fallen tower.

It is the middle of summer and yet the redwall descs are all set to winter! Personally i would like to dive in the pond without having my head smashed by ice. I know Keiran has a lot to do but I think he should take a break and fix the descs. Also alot of people are complaining about how long it is taking to join the order. (i just pulled my alt out after waiting 4MONTHS)

Midwinter Festival at Redwall Abbey

Posted by: Marie at 2007-12-10

Attention all goodbeasts!

Midwinter is fast approaching, and the Abbey is starting to think towards a Midwinter Festival, at which allbeasts are welcome! If you are interested please feel free to come to the Abbey on December 21st for a day of preparation, including cooking, decorating, and unfortunately for some, cleaning. The following day (the winter solstice), December 22nd, there will be feasting and celebrating galore! Performers would be appreciated.

If anyone is interested in helping out with anything involved, please page Lark in-game - note that as a dibbun, she's not the IC organizer. :)

Recap: Who: Everyone What: Midwinter Festival When: December 21st and 22nd Where: Redwall Abbey Why: Because it's fun!

IC Food in the Redwall World

Posted by: Marie at 2008-01-01

I have a cook character myself, and I'm aware of the fact that our choices for foods are limited, since there's no easy way to get at names of food items or ingredients without flipping through the books again.

Now that it's been mentioned to me a couple times by others, I'd say it's time to start a collection. I will make a cookbook for Redwall's kitchen, perhaps for the library as well, but I need input from others. I'm willing to program the "book" to be usable, but I don't have the time to do that and collect info on top of the fifty gazillion other things I'm doing at work and at home.

Please go to

IC Food in the Redwall World... complete post

Sorry about the previous post, I can't go back and edit it. Here's the full text:

Please go to this page to add your ideas to what others have given. If you pull things out of a book, let me know that so I know it's officially IC. If you just have an idea that you'd like to see edited to fit into this, let me know that too. I'm happy to work with either.

I'm going to have to have to decide how we deal with the issues of butter, cheese, flour, etc. since they don't mention cows anywhere, or a mill anywhere nearby. Since there was definitely cheese in the books, that's okay. I believe there was butter, and flour, but please give me your comments about items like these on the ideas page.

I'd appreciate it if any of your ideas went on the page I've created, rather than here. That way everything is there, instead of being scattered around on the various posts I've added. Thanks.
