Long Patrol Logs
As those of you who are members know, players with Long Patrol characters are required to present logs twice monthly in order to maintain their membership. And while the logs were posted by the leaders in the past, the job is now being turned over to all of you. In order to submit your log, you will need to post a comment. The comment should contain a link to the log document that you have placed in your personal member folder. In order to learn how to create a document, please go here.
However, for a step-by-step explanation, read the following:
- First off, I will assume that you have already joined the website. Now, make sure that you are logged in.
- Up in the right-hand section of your screen there ought to be a link that says
my folder. Go to that. - Once you have done so, you should see an area which has a
selectoption, and beside this,add new item. Click on select, and choose the optiondocumentand then click onadd new item. This will create a document and take you to an editing page. - Then, simply add the text from your log into the
body textsection. Also, include the names of those characters involved in the role play before the log itself. - Also, in the
namesection, please enter the date of the role play, andtitleit anddescribeit however you wish. - Now, return to the logs page, click on
add commentand either simply type in the url for your document, or make a link. Making a link is relatively simple, and I feel that this site explains it nicely. - And, that's it. Congratulations. :)
Now, you are ready to post your logs. Remember, log-posting is a requirement. For every month, the first period starts on the 1st and will end on the 15th, while the second period will start on the 16th and will end on the final day of the month. Start sending those logs in today!

Patrol stops again on the Western Beach heading northwards

The Patrol has been heading northwards from Salamandastron on a patrol to get new ingredients for Neville to brew up more booze for the hares of the mountain.
This log tells about the patrol stopping for a rest while some hares and a michievious otter decide to give the new Lt. Humbert a lesson in being too bossy and big headed after his promotion. This log also shows that the friendship between Neville and Skipai is very fruitful when it comes to tyeaching some bossy hare a lesson.
