IC Information:
IC Name: Aurelius Huan Dior
IC Age: He's about 12 seasons, but this isn't revealed on his Description.
IC Position: LP Fighter
IC History: Aurelius' father was a hare of authority, owning a large estate in the far South, but had homosexual tendencies that were known by all. As a result he ensured that he got a pretty doe pregnant, but she was snatched by a horde of vermin and held to ransom. Unfortunately, his father didn't care that much and allowed the doe to be killed - although beforehand, she helped Aurelius to escape. He settled down to live his life in a small town community and lived happily for a few seasons, before deciding to visit his aunt. On the way, however, he's been sucked into the hype about the LP and wishes to experience it for himself.
IC Character: Aurelius is a new character and I haven't finalised his little quirks yet, however, he will be relatively kind natured, and certainly have a slightly odd-ball sense of humour. Hard-working and conscientious, but definitely insensitive about personal problems except his own, of course. He will like to keep the grey aspects of his past life private and will be hard to get close to.
OOC Information:
I have been on the MUCK for about 2 and a half years in total, but with breaks when outside commitments have been more important.
I've had this character for about.. 3 hours.
RP Scenarios:
Aurelius is sat the corner of his room, diligently polishing some piece of nondescript weaponry. He's leaning heavily against the wall, tutting quietly under his breath as he works, tapping a paw to an unsung melody. Suddenly he stops working and declares loudly, though clearly to himself, "Supper soon!" And he's back to his working, tutting and tapping once more.
Aurelius potters around the dunes outside Salamandastron happily, considering practising his singing skills. Just before he bursts into glorious song, a searat leaps out with a weapon he doesn't quite see in time to recognise. He calmly steps aside so as to recieve a glancing blow to his shoulder. This hurts more than he expects, but it also knocks the rat off balance and it's currently rolling around on the floor at his feet. He kicks sand in it's eyes and puts his hindpaw to it's throat, idly wondering what to do with it next.
Basic MUCK commands:
IC stands for In Character, and it refers to the actions, speech, description, etc. of a MUCK user whilst they are playing their character, such as a hare or a searat.
OOC stands for Out Of Character, and refers to the exact opposite of the above.
A roompage has several uses. It can be used to talk OOCly in IC rooms or while character's status' are IC, or while an RP is happening. It can also be used to organise events in the RP, such as what is going to happen in a fight, in order to avoid twinks.
The say command is used ICly in an RP, for a character to say something as an action. It can be used OOCly in an OOC room or when status' (all) are set to OOC, for the player to say something.
A twink can be an action or a part of a description even that involves other characters doing/thinking/saying things that they might not have agreed to. For example in a pose, a twink might read, "Aurelius stabs Zoe_Lang in the big toe, causing her head to fall off." Which can't actually happen without Zoe_Lang's previous permission. :)
