1. Jakk's daggers are important to him because they were given to him by his mother. She had them made specifically for him when he was younger and showed an interest in daggers. This was only encouraged by his mother who seemed to think it fit him perfectly, and now he tries his hardest to use daggers well. He's gotten pretty good with them, yet.. only in peaceful training situations.

2. Zeraph doesn't drink all of the time, though every now and then he feels the need to suddenly drink a lot. This is due to the period in his life around his promotion where everything seemed to suddenly stress him out. His best friends were going through hard times, his fiancee was missing, and he was pushed to try his hardest and make everyone proud while trying to deal with everything else.

Raph first started drinking when he arrived at the mountain, but only began to heavily indulge in this around this time, especially after he found that his fiancee - missing for months - was actually not dead.. but had just left him because she thought that he should be with a doe. This could just be an excuse or not, Raph has never found out.

Now Zer drinks everytime he feels some sort of stress or sadness coming on, which is basically one of the only ways to tell that he is having a hard time of it.

Interesting bout Jakk but that is not true :P he killed a weasel with them not two weeks ago :P

And as for Zer... hugs him and hooks him up with a nice doe...
