Good RPers and restrictions

Ah, there's a problem with trying to restrict things to "good RPers".

Good according to whom? By what standard?

I understand the desire, but ...

If someone wants to be a badger, and they aren't allowed, they are likely simply not to play. While it's possible they will be a twinky power-gamer, it's also possible they will play an excellent badger.

If someone plays poorly, let's help them play better. Whether they are a twinky badger or a twinky super-warrior mouse, if they are twinks, they need help.

And sometimes, if they won't be helped, they need to be ignored. If all they do is bother others and won't join in effectively, then they'll eventually leave if ignored. There are times when that's best for them and the MU.

This is why we don't restrict things: we don't have the means to objectively determine who is "worthy".

restrictions

I think that restricting a player would just leave them mad and maybe even getting them to tell people about that and then the website wouldn't have as much players. I don't think any of us would like that.
