There was a TP in Mapleleaf few months ago during the flood, in which part of the all polecat-band was stranded near Mapleleaf. The villagers helped them and they then decided to stay and live in the village. Valus and Elena were two of them and the only ones still active (not purged) and are staying in the village as their bellmaker and glassblower. The gypsies would of course have to be a different band..hmm. I think the thieves idea is definatly a good one.
