I'm working out the details for a TP to achieve a few goals:

1) Have fun

2) Give the beasts stuck living in The Crevasse a home in the woods

3) Establish a number of small communities in the woods

Along the way will be the RP of a census, with weapons-beasts guarding timid abbey-recorder type beasts.

There will be room for the mean to torment them, the timid to play records, and the cocky fighters to play guards and nursemaids.

Feedback here as you like, and I'll get a page setup on it as soon as we get some interested parties to join.

I really think to get the Abbey to be more of a community, there needs to be Winter Games and Feast on the first day it snows. The Abbey could open the invite for all players in the Mossflower area.

Posco has brought, after a month's travel, enough supplies back to the abbey to have a smaller feast. There could be games for dibbuns such as snowball fights, snowbeast making contest, Best Snow Fort Contest, ect... It would be fun!

Posco has already mentioned something like this to Kevarr IC, but that was a long time ago. Do you guys think it's a good idea?

To work with the Census TP and to assist with the efforts to revamp Redwall's RP, a new event is gearing up that will focus on the woodlanders living in Mossflower.

The goals of this event?

1. Fun is always the first priority.
2. To establish a woodlander presence in Redwall and begin a return to the original values of Redwall itself, and a reformation of the Order.
3. Bring the spirits of the inhabitants up.

I would like to see this TP happen finally... If Sarengo (king of Riftgard)and Serena (queen of Riftgard) say it's ICly not that easy to leave the island of Riftgard again once you're trapped on it, there should be someone to ICly help the poor slaves that are there. Previous slave-lib leaders that where busy with creating a TP (to free slaves) are gone, so please, if the TP next week friday wouldn't work out, please, let someone make the TP about happen...

I think this has been tried before, but I really think Role-Playing classes should be held weekly (instead of, say, once a year, so that if someone misses on they can come to the next or next) in the OOC Area or somesuch. Why? Well, I've seen lots of RPers who really aren't good because to get good, you need either A) Practice or B) Teaching. The first isn't provided because nobody wants to RP with someone who isn't good, and teaching hasn't previously been provided often.

RPing classes, I think, and more importantly frequent ones, would both make the game more fun for "bad" role-players because they get better and make it more fun for the "good" role-players because then, they can RP with a lot of people without feeling "these people are so awful".

I'm aware that things are easier said than done and I've been told there have been efforts to do so in the past, but I think we desperately need to start a Guosim group. In my mind, Redwall just isn't the same without Guosim. If anyone's interested in helping me figure out how to get a group started and populating the group, PM Lassik anytime I'm on. I'm still new to the MUCK and don't know how to use every command or how everything works, but I'm a fast learner.

I remember the good old days of 2002, when The Black Gull, fondly nicknamed the BGT and known worldwide, was the center of vermin RP. Most of the elderly MUCKers here remember it. You went there at any time and there was maybe five people at least RPing there. It was a wonderful center of verminly RP.

Now ... well, now it's not. It might as well be dead, for all the people who are ever there. Something ought to be done! I really miss the Black Gull and the RP that was there. It would be grand if vermin could get together and RP like back then.

I don't know how this could be done, but if someone did it, I would gladly vote for them if they ran for President!
