Though doing a mass page-mail would be spammy and not a good way to reach people.
By all means, get some friends together to run this event. Talk to the staff about MOTD it.
There is space from last year where it was being setup but didn't run. Go to the Events tab to the Summer Fair and read what they did for preperation. Also, consider talking to the folks who tried it last year.
Perhaps this is early enough this year to make it shine.

I hope it works. It would bring lots of muckers together for a huge roleplay, from all parts. If it works, I'm gonna have my char. leave his home for the fair(but come back when the fair is over) to do entertainment there, or show off his woodworking skills.
