<p>Just my opinion... there's pros and cons to giving skills. I must say, it would be wonderful to be able to discourage the 'I'm-best-at-everything' type characters, but this isn't a MUD. Part of what makes us different is that anyone *can* be anything they want, no matter what.</p>
<p>My two cents would be something more limiting to the RP in forms of well-publicized rules, rather than numbers. Numbers only mean so much, and the numbers would take away from the focus of this game: the RP. Not how good any character is, but the actual RP. One thing the I'm-the-best characters don't realize is that characters who aren't perfect are *so* much more fun.</p>
<p>In terms of the numerals, I'm against this, but I agree completely to the underlying idea. If that matters at all. Good luck pushing this forward!</p>
