MUF vs MPI

Posted by Chaos at 2005-05-22 10:37 AM
Are any of these programs that need updating written in MPI? I'll gladly look them over. I'm still moving very slowly in terms of learning MUF, but I'll get there. Eventually.

MUF for the large ones

If the problems were in MPI, I'd likely be able to knock them down in an hour or two.

I happen to really like MPI, compared to MUF.

However, MPI has serious issues with speed, especially on programs that are long-running. So, MUF tends to predominate.

If you're itchy

You should make up your own program if you're bored. If you do a good job, submit it to the NMC dev, and it would probably be put out in the next version.
