Pending Commands

Just a note, there are the commands on my list to fix or write in the short-term:

+best_rper is broken and needs fixing

+extras is a command to create zombies that can be "shared" by members of a group or area to allow for "extras" such as minor dull characters to avoid the need for spoofing everything.

wf Watch-for needs to be updated to let people do a "watch-for" for group members directly (a way to enhance +groups)

+welcome is a command to submit new "welcome" screens that ANYONE can use and (if the submission is approved) will appear at times during the login process. This will make our Welcome to Redwall screen under the control of all the players.

mumble I don't know why or why this stopped working, but it needs to be fixed.

+giveto provides the means to change ownership of something. This is most useful for staff, but can be used by anyone. It's the opposite of @chown. With @chown, you take something once allowed. With +giveto, you change ownership of an object to someone that has granted you permission to do so.

LONG TERM GOALS

weather and sky, both of which needs a couple of people to help with the MUF. They are large and will be distributed with the NMC core MUF software.

Anyone wanting to learn MUF, talk to me.

Keep the Light,

MUF vs MPI

Posted by: Chaos at 2005-05-22

Are any of these programs that need updating written in MPI? I'll gladly look them over. I'm still moving very slowly in terms of learning MUF, but I'll get there. Eventually.
