Ahh, but what about the Badgermum?

Not to sound contradicting or anything Otter, but the only reason the Abbey functioned in that time (between Abbess Song and Abbess Mhera, for those keeping score) was that there was a strong leading personality in the form of Cregga Badgermum, and that only worked because nobody's stupid enough to argue with a big blind badger. No lie. I think it would be a good idea to unlink and move it, or something else.

In short, I propose a Tiny Plot that will remedy the situation, in the form of a group (Possibly supplied by the current GUISOM group or some other properly aligned group) forcing themselves into control, a current unpopular mode of action.

To see the other side however, is that Redwall is fufilling its 'Cannon' responsibility in some way, though it has accepted vermin into it, which I think that it would possibly move towards eventually, plus some of the 'vermin' (though I hesitate to call the characters that) have well-developed backstories that would be greatly discounted by unlinking the abbey in its entirely and moving it.

I'm a fan of a TP to change and possibly restore the order, though that's a limited solution.

Well, I have to interject...

The MU* is quite a bit more shall we say, mature than the books, for one thing. Personalities and the like are taken into account, and vermin are different in many ways, though most evil characters are stil vermin, and most vermin are at least neutral. Canon changes. The abbey's accepting of Vermin simply reflects the playing of vermin, as it were, for the fact is that they did so in the past, never turning away aid except if under dire attack. Banishment was a harsh punishment reserved for murderers, and even stealing was, though punished, not a banishable offense. What I mean to say is that the Abbey's rules stand, and it is up to the players to RP with them. In this way, I'd like to think that the Abbey can be restored to what it is; it is canon enough, however it is simply...overlooked.
