When I first thought of it, I figured I might as well not even bother to post it, because there's a good chance it wouldn't work. But then I realized that putting an idea out there that doesn't work out is probably a better thing than just saying nothing. (So everyone who was thinking like me, get posting! ~.^ ) Anyhow, I was thinking about what /I/ would like, and the thought that came to me was: A drawing of one of my characters. I always find it fun to see my characters come to life like that, and to see how other people are picturing them. I have no doubt that other people would find that pretty spiffy, too. However, the major problem with the idea is finding a good artist who both would want to do it, and would have the time to do it. Good pictures can take a while to properly make. Soo, that's the set back. But, at least it's an idea.

I think that is a good idea, Amethyst. There's many chars I have and others I have interacted with that I'd love to see brought to life with a drawing :) Perhaps a area can be made on the site for the contest winners drawings to go? Mapleleaf has a art page for its members (and others) too.

Finding people willing to do the artwork is one challenge, but I think we can do that much.
But posting it on a page of "Characters of the Period" would definitely be a good reward.
