The Abbey in fact will recover by people who do it together. No one beast is going to fix the Abbey, but many together RPing there will.
Sure, Kevarr could easily update all the descriptions to show the Abbey as flawless, but the quake and damage is perfectly IC; it does take time, but their work is moving ahead and changes are being made. Having the background of construction and work only makes it possible to form more interesting small plots, for those willing to participate.
The rebuilding of the Order is hard because to be an Abbott or Abbess, you have to have been a Sister or Brother. And that requires role-playing in accordance with the terms of the order. Before, there wasn't any process of working to achieve, there was just granting a title. That didn't work.
Anyone who would like to see the Abbey regain an Abbott or Abbess is certainly welcome and encouraged to join the Order of Redwall Abbey as a novice and actually PLAY as if you were a Redwall member.
That is advice from the ONE person who can authorize another Abbott or Abbess: ME, Otter, Chief Wizard. I'm not granting titles anymore; nothing unearned is appreciated.
Keep the Light,
Otter
