The Background

The loyalties of many from past endeavors or from the generations of ancestors lie with two main visionaries, the motivators of the group. The resources of the two combined are extensive - from land inheritance or conquest to backing of nobility, to funds inherited or acquired from the elimination of other wealthy individuals or organizations (slave traders, pirates, raiders and looters).

The Vision

The primary founders dream of an extensive trade empire, of securing a monopoly on supplying goods to markets and bazaars, of a notoriety as marauders and connivers of legend and lore, of being a reliable source through which intelligence and mercenary help can be obtained, of merciless raids and underground slave trade and of all of the riches available to be made by anyone who invests themselves in the process. Together they're uniting all dreamers who expect their work to pay off in affording them a more comfortable lifestyle.

The Promise

Applicable to vermin only, woodlander species considered lower-class, exploitable and expendable.

• Fulfilling work with generous compensation and excellent "benefits" ;) - IE getting to be a mean bad notorious verminie!
• Opportunity for advancement based on loyalty, aptitude and responsibility.
• Encouragement and support in the pursuit of your own lifestyle choices. Like owning as many slaves as you can afford.. :D
• Affiliation with a prosperous and influential Organization and personal notoriety for one's accomplishments.

• The overall alignment of the group is Lawful/Chaotic Evil in it's practices and governance - accepted personal alignments include Lawful Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, Lawful Evil, and Chaotic Evil.
• The council ICly maintains that when a woodlander's capability for contribution to the Order is of particular importance or value, that individual's species should be overlooked and they should not subjected to ill-treatment. However, given that the group is mainly verminous, woodlander members may be exploited, considered temporary/expendable, particularly scrutinized and/or underprivileged.
