Positions

To join the order, contact Abbot Gvaere ICly. You must really wnat to be a trainee to get in. Trainee diuties include:

 

  • Prepare dinner with the other trainees every saturday.
  • Infirmary duty once a week.
  • Attend the classes.
  • Chores, and lots of them.
  • Must rise very morning at 6:30 AM
  • Must wear a dingy red habit.
  • Must learn to be certain different things.

Pre-Requisites:

  • MUst be at least 7 Seasons old.
  • Must express a desire and willingness to be in the order.
  • Must put aside all unpeaceful ways.

Advancement to Brother/Sistership:

  • Can do healing when needed.
  • KNows Basic herblore.
  • Can brew a good ale.
  • Can make a salad without burning it. ::)
  • Can teach.
  • Can read and write very well.
  • Cna do advanced 'Rithmetic.
  • Cand take care of dibbuns.

As a brother or sister you can specialize in the fields listed above. Here's some duties for brothers and sisters:

  • Must wear a reddish-brown habit.
  • MUst rise every morning at 5:45 AM.
  • Must help trainees with their chores and in learning.
  • Must do their job. (e.g. If you specialize in the scholarly field, your job is to teach.)
  • Must be seen in public.

 

Now, if you are an elder, you wear a brown habit. The elders are the heads of their fields, and the abbot.

(Not usually filled due to this being an abbey that is rarely attacked)Captain of the Guard
Recorder
Friar
Cellarkeeper
Infirmary Keeper
Head Groundskeeper

To just plain old join, same thing, except you just have to leave all weapons at the gatehouse. Here's some positions:
