Latchers was born in mossflower to his mom and dad. He lived happily until his mom left. His dad sort of lost it, and took him south, to Salamandastron. There his dad sort of disappeared, without even saying goodbye. Latcher is confident he'll return someday, though.

• An equally brief synopsis of your character's personality, including ticks, pet peeves, hobbies, and so on. Whatever you think is relevant. Ticks: His left ear twitches whenever he's around water. Pet Peeves: (I think) He tsk-tsks anyone who slurrs. Hobbies: Eating, and singing. Favorite Way of Annoying People: Sneaking food off their plates during meals.

Roleplay

Below, you will see one standard role play scenario and one battle scenario, to which you will respond with one pose each.

• Scenario: You are already a Long Patrol member. Your character has been assigned some sort of task, or chore (ex: sweeping, polishing weaponry, sewing uniforms, etc.) and now they must complete said task. The setting can be a nondescript hallway, if you like. Pose as your character would behave in such a situation. Include speech, if possible.

Latchers is scowling, having to clean out uniforms. He says to himself, "I can't bewieve deys is makin' me cwean of bawwy unifomes jes' fa twyin' to get fwippin' bawwy secon's offa da Wootenints pwate, wut!" He wrings out a major's dress uniform.

• Battle Scenario: You are on the shores of Salamandastron, walking amongst the dunes. All of a sudden, a searat pops out from behind one and charges at you, his blade slicing down at your shoulder. Pose as your character would behave in such a situation. Speech is not necessary, but if you wish to include it, feel free.

Latchers yelps, and shoots away from the rat, screaming, "Help, 'Elp, Bwoody Modo! Bawwy Bwoody Modo!" He is shooting like a rocket towards the mountain, and safety.

Basic MUCK Commands and Definitions

• Give a brief explanation of IC and OOC. IC is what your character is doing, OOC is what you're doing.

• Explain the differences between room-page and the say command. room-page is how you say things like you have to leave, or will be back in a second. say is used to have your character talk.
• What is a twink? A twink is when you do something physically to another character (i.e. slap them) without asking permission first.
