Furgo was born in a large house to a Lord and LAdy Springear. The presided over a prestigious community of mice and squirrels, in a large town. Unfortunately, it was underneath a mountain overhang, and a landslide killed all but he and his mother. His true name was Furgo Amron Springear. His mother kept him, using an old basket as a cradle, keeping a note on it incase she must abandon him. One night two weasles found them, pushed Lady Springearinto a stream supposedly to her death, and took baby Furgo. But outside a hut, the sprucetail hut, by the river moss, the weasels argued over what to do next, eventually killing each other and leaving the baby furgo behind to be found by Larex and Laurinwe` Sprucetail, who took him in, renaming him Furgo Trillion Sprucetail, and raised him as their own, totally unaware of his noble birth. As a young one his "father" taught him to read, and he often was immersed in Larex's many books about the sea, redwall abbey, and their ancestors. He often used pots and pretended he was boldly defending the coast from searats. Eventually, he found he couldn't read one of the books, and it was found he needed glasses. After that a cruel earthquake came, and their home collapsed. He and his adopted family went south toward redwall when Larex became stuck in a treeroot, and was freed by a great Hawk, Keerahyh. After that Furgo soon arrived at the abbey. Laurinwe`, though, became pregnant with twins, but had to leave northwards again. Then Furgo became a novice of the order of redwall abbey after talking with Brother Josiah. After that he soon became friends with a cat, named Redtail, after telling a story. After a while, he was sent to get something from the cellar, but tripped, breaking his arm. While recovering, Redtail seemed to be around less and less. After being given a task by sister Sunrose, he met Caina, who had also broken her arm. Then he met a new novice, Clawfang, and became friends with him, even sort of teaching him to write a bit. After he recovered, Clawfang mysteriously disappeared. Soon after, some of the dibbuns went on a camping trip, and Furgo was helping out in the kitchen, when a bird came to tell all were okay, since they weren't there yet, and were supposed to already be back. After they returned, he was soon promoted to Second Level Novice. Then A young one named Rohen broke his lower back, losing the power to move his legs. Furgo put several things aside, feeeling sorry for Rohen, and constructed him a sort of wheeled chair. Then he found the truth out: That two weasels left him at the the Sprucetail House. At the end of January that year, he hosted a riddle competition that went very well, and during the sharing of the treats, a new resident who he had met before calle dhim over, where she told him she thought Furgo was kinda cute, and he said he thought she was beautiful, and they realized they were in love. After this, several things happened of unimportance until April, when some of the novices went on a trip to Halyard for the Spring Festival, then returned, and a group of hares showed up for a Youth Exchange, when Furgo made friends with a hare recruit named Quinten. Soon after the hares's arrival, he was made a Brother by Sister Sunrose and inducted a novice into the order. A few months later, Furgo caught a bad cold for a while, but got better. He hadn't seen Asthore for a while, and soon realized she had gone and wasn't coming back.
