Belliger and the Seer

Belliger gets some freaky predictions... From a curious owl who happened to just land on the Guosim camp. Funny thing, fate, but that's just what the owl says he deals in...
The Seer
GUOSIM involved: Belliger
Others involved: Siegfried

Sitting near the edge of the entrance, the owl rocks back and forth muttering something under his breath. A large pile of black small shiny stones lie in front of him, at least sixty or more about the size of a mouse's paw. He looks at them, and fluffs out his chest.

Belliger has been watching the owl for a while now from a distance, just thinking it'd go away after a while... It obviously hasn't. He approaches the owl cautiously, a paw waved in greeting, other on short sword... Just in case. Hehe. "Ahoy!"

"Greetings child, greetings. This your home no? Have I disturbed it? I meant no harm, indeed. None at all." The owl rocks back then forwards before stopping. He chirps at Belliger. "Past to present, to future we all have. See through the eyes of the stones?"

"Uhm... Aye, wote'er ye jus' said, aye." Belliger's paw moves away from his weapon, and he crosses his arms. "Ye got business, 'ere?"

"I tell the beasts of futures clues, presents times and pasts inflictiions." Siegfried chuckles. "Or in your terms child, a fortune teller. Speaker of the stones and of the stars. Come sit with me."

Belliger tilts his head, half curiously. "I think yer nuts, mate. Nuts." ... He sits with him anyway.

"Nuts? Perhaps a bit disturbed. Mildly emotionally unpredictable. Mentally slow at the upkeep, but nuts? No not at all child." Siegfried chuckles again. "Place the stones you see before you, four large piles from left to right. All to be equal in size and form. No look yet upon the runes upon them. Face down they are to stay. When all piles form, take the first from left to right and flip the stone so I may see it as well as you."

"Focus your energy, empty your mind. Rest." The owl speaks out.

Belliger looks up at the crazy newcomer owl... But rearranging some rocks? Harmless, right? He follows the owl's instructions, all up to the point where there are four equal piles. He looks up at the owl, and flips the first.

"What is at paw..." The bird watches the stone's picture revealed. A butterfly carrying a key. "A item that has been taken to heart, has many rewards. Perhaps a task or event has occured." He rocks back and forth again. "Peace may be at paw, do not judge others too harshly. A beast's health shall improve.." He nods. "..be it mentally or emotionally I cannot forsee but you can help." He blinks and stares then at Belliger. "The next stone from left to right, second pile. The past returns..flip the stone."

Belliger pauses, a little hesitant at first... Slowly, he brings his paw to flip over the second stone, waiting for the hocus pocus.

"Not good not bad.." The stone carries that of a stone tower struck by lightning. Two beasts one vermin one woodlander are falling from its top. "Admiration, to be earned. Someone longs for it or has it..but not realizes it as of yet perhaps. The truth is over placed, deformed from what it is but truth it still be. Foes are coming, strangers in the dark...to be revealed they have oh yes. What is viewed as one, may cover another. False visions of a beasts, illusions yes. Compromise is needed in these times, not all planned shall be recieved." He nods.

"The third stone, left to right, think of this in times to come. Flip the stone."

Belliger gulps... This is ominous to the shrew, but he seems to be entranced by the mystic seer's words, wanting to hear more. He flips the third stone, quickly this time, eager.

The stone revealed and out it comes, the picture of that being five small coins with stars upon them, golden in color. A hammer rests in the center with a golden star on its metal head. What looks to be a drawing tool, a quill is there as well as a odd metel object hardly visible. "What is longed for, the safety of the ones you care for deep, love and cherish may come. You are strong in many ways, and can provide but must learn to listen as there is much to be said and learned. Never give up on finding what you seek the knowledge may be at paw." The bird rocks again. "Fourth from the left, the final stone. Perhaps it shall show the path one shalt take. Advice it may provide."

Belliger ponders the seer's words... And to think, the owl just kinda... -showed up.- This is deep, life-altering mumbo jumbo, ladies and gentlebeasts! Life-altering! He moves a shaky paw to the final stone, and flips it, jerking his head up in anticipation.

Pressed upon the stone lies a beast. Not vermin or woodlander, good or bad. One of the forest perhaps in spirit. A female with arms of vines and flowers sprouting from her extended arms, garbed in green. "Much lies within your soul, child. The forest is your guide, your savior in these times. Express your ideals, your beliefs. Strive forth to get what you wish, it is your responsibility to do as such. Passion fills you, from footpaw to head, it is important to you greatly. News..of a arrival..yes to come. But it is dark. A child lost. Or one to be brought into this world..or two to be bound together forevermore.." He looks tired. Siegfried stops the rocking.

Belliger inhales sharply, and, head slightly turned, turns downward to look at the picture stones... "...Wot 'n 'ell..." Belliger looks like in deep thought, contemplating the seer's predictions and ethereal observations... "Wot 'n 'ellsteeth..." Woah, now, Bell.

Pressing the stones into one pile, the owl stares down upon the shiny black objects. He seems dazed and confused. "Take one stone, press it in your paws. Toss it up and catch it child..and open it for us to see."

...MORE?! Belliger finds it hard to resist, anyway. He picks the stone up, presses it in his paws, tosses it up, catches it... and opens his paw to show the owl. This is gettin' Freeeeeeeeeekie.

A blade gripped by a undistinguished paw, held hi and wrapped in a vine. "Spirits aids, things come to pass." The owl chirps. "One cannot surrender, or give up. The ideals are strong. Your ego may come into play, to block the wise choices that need to be made. Move forwards not back, now is the time to pres on. The goals can be met." Siegfried slumps.

Belliger finally seems to snap out of whatever trance he might have been in. "'ey... Wot's th'meanin' o'this, anyway? Comin' in 'ere talkin' o' th'pas', presen' an' future like ye know 't all..." Mumble.

"I am Siegfried, a traveller whom watches the ways of Fate." The bird begins to gather the stones slowly and gently, as if they were like his children. "Not all shalt understand. But must come to grips that other forces are at work."

"...Oh, no no no nononono. Yer leavin'? Yer jus' gonna come in 'ere an' spout off yer nonsense, then leave?" Belliger looks in disbelief at the owl. "Wot'd'ye mean by all this?"

"The answers lie within you. Not within me. I simple inform. You choose the stones. But not your fate." Siegfried nods.*rep.*

Belliger gives Siegfried a blank stare. "Righ'. Wonderful. Bloody superb. If'n I don' choose my fate, why d'ye bother tellin' me? Ruined th'surprise, ye did."

"I asked for you to sit. You turned the stones of fate, not I. You looked upon the pictorials upon them and chose to develop what they mean to your life. You chose to listen to my words." Siegfried chirps. "So who is to blame but yourself?"

Belliger rolls his head around whimsically. "I thought ye'd be more 'elpful, ye know, gimme a chance t'change stuff, but nooooooooooooo, ye gotta talk in riddles an' whatnot."

"You can change things. There is time." The bird finishes gathering all the stones.

"Well, could ye be a li'l less vague? I don' wanna 'ave t'-think- that 'ard!" Belliger sees the owl probably figures on leaving. "Why'd'ye 'ave t'go an' lure me in like tha', ye evil seer, ye!"

"One must work for what they wish for and believe in." Siegfried flaps his wings. "What is evil and what is good? Is there such a difference in this life? Could you not do something that I believe to be evil and I good, but others view as differently?"

"Again with the riddles! Stoppit!" Belliger looks angry. "Git outta 'ere... Out!"

"Anger leads to hate..." The bird looks at Belliger. "It cannot be. You will know the time for it."

Belliger shakes his head, trying to sort through the fog of riddle. "Th'time fer wot? Wot?!"

"To begin the war. One you can see, but not believe. One that may lie in your sight, or in your heart child. Or both. Times for changes are coming I can feel it." Siegfried grabs his pack. "Be well my friend."

Belliger just watches the owl. Be well. Hah. That's like shoving someone into a lake and telling them to stay dry.
