People involved: Ralai and Terrance
Location: Salamandastron: Training room

Ralai is laying on the padded mat working out with one of the bar weights with several metal weights on the ends

Terrance walks into the training room, eyes roaming around the room. His unsure manner should give away that he is fairly unfamiliar with his surroundings. the young buck's eyes then come to ralai and they widen a little bit. He just stands there watching for the moment.

Ralai sees the young hare and says "hello young sir"

Terrance's ears straiten up as he is addressed. Uh oh, what now. "Um, hallo there" he says, taking on "sah" quickly as he remembers hearing others saying that a lot around here.

Ralai asks, "hah sir? i am no sir just call me ralai you are higher ranked then me young sir"

Terrance quirks a brow at that. At this point he hasn't gotten his uniform yet even. "Really? Aren't ya the badger lord though?"

Ralai says, "no i am just a visiting badger"

Terrance ohs, that was a smart move. His ears change colors a little bit under his fur and the buck looks down to the ground. "I see. So what are ya doin' here? If'n ya don't mind me askin' that is sah."

Ralai says, "beasts kept asking me if i was from here and i decided i wanted to visit this place and see if i can find out why they ask me if i'm from here..."

Terrance glances back up towards the badge once more. "Ah, I see. How long have ya been here then?"

Ralai says, "3 days"

Terrance nods, "Ya got here 2 days ahead of me then" he says with a smile. Good, he's not the only new one around here. That sort of a comfort.

Ralai says, "true but i am only staying until halyard is freed from the vermin then i may live there..."

Terrance hms and bends an ear down to scratch the tip, "Halyard sah? Wha's that?"

Ralai says, "it's a nearby town"

Terrance nods, "Ah, I see." The buck then glances around the room a little bit more. "So...I take it this be a trainin' place o' some sort?"

Ralai says, "yes i come here to practice with the wooden swords sometimes but so far i have found the weights more useful"

Terrance glances towards those swords and then back to the badger. "That's an awful lot of weight ya got on there sah."

Ralai says, "true but this is not very heavy for me"

Terrance grins and chuckles, "Well course not sah. Not fer a badger. Bet I'd just be barely anything ta lift."

Ralai says, "could test that if you wanted to sir heh"

Terrance's grin turns to a nervous expression, "Uh, I think I'll pass on that sah. Maybe later."

Ralai says, "i was just kidding,please call me ralai i am not deserving of being called sir"

Terrance gives little laugh, slightly uneasy sounding. "Right sah...Ralai."

Ralai asks, "relax sheesh you'd think i was coming at you with a deadly weapon,whats your name anyway young sir?"

Terrance smiles a little and chuckles. "The name's Terrance. Good to meet ya ralai."

Ralai says, "it's an honor sir terrance"

Terrance smirks, "Well I'm not sah also Ralai. Just got signed up as a recruit today."

Ralai chuckles saying "you are above me in rank in this mountain terrance"

Terrance shrugs and leaves that debate at that. "So what do ya do around 'ere? Just hang out?"

Ralai says, "i will help if i am needed but noone has needed help so far"

Terrance nods, "Sounds good. Well, I should be tryin' to find out where I need to be. Have a good day Ralai."

Ralai says, "try the dining hall you will probably find someone there"

Terrance glances back at the door, "Hm, right. Sounds like a good idea. Thanks." He then glances back and gives a wave then leaves the room.

Ralai says, "bye terrance"
