Tobias was born and raised in Salamandastron, which of course exposed him to its way of life at a very early age. Like most young hares, he was enamored with the idea of joining the Long Patrol and displaying feats of bravery, loyalty, fidelity, and heroism. He's always been a bit short in comparison to most hares, and this in turn allowed him to develop a very gregarious nature, attempting to ingratiate himself with others through his use of wit and humor, even in the most dire of circumstances.

Tobias is very adept at sleight of hand, and things that require speed and distraction. Due to his low center of gravity, he is an adept acrobat, and is prone to a bit of tomfoolery now and again, in an effort to entertain those around him. He is also a formidable storyteller. Unfortunately, he is also known for his temper when it comes to matters of his height.

I first joined this Muck in 1996 or '97...quite some time ago. Redwall abbey was actually called Nightingale Abbey at the time, I believe, to discourage legal troubles with the series. Character: I made this character this evening, so he is rather wet-behind-the-ears.

A logged Rp a week should be no problem at all, although there are certain circumstances where I will have to work with the schedule, as I am in the military IRL, and unexpected things come up.

"You there! Halt!" exlaims Tobias, brandishing a broomstick and pointing it at the offender. "That's twice now you've passed through this hall without so much as a by-your-leave, and made dreadful state of my freshly swept floor. Bad form!"

SWOOSH! Comes the blade toward Tobias' shoulder, but the Hare bears the burden of short stature, and it appears to have saved his life! He startles at the ugly face leering down at him, and launches into a roll to the left, parting ways with a shred of his tunic. He pops to his feet again swiftly. "I say, that was my finest mess uniform, you dratter!"

• IC means In-Character, which is, in essence, 'in role.' You are onstage, and the curtains are up. There is no breaking character and launching into a chat about the Yankees, or the ever rising price of rice in China.
• OOC means out of character. While you are OOC, it is encouraged that you try to remain seperated from IC areas, as players use them to roleplay, and do not enjoy distraction.
• The Say command will force your character to speak, audible by anyone in the room you currently occupy (and elsewhere, if there are 'cameras' up, or events in the room are monitored elsewhere). Room Pages are OOC and are a way to notify characters in a room of something without using the page command. It is, however, not good to use this outside moderation, as it begins to detract from the IC atmosphere.
• A TWINK is someone who forces actions upon other characters without consulting them beforehand. For example, "Tobias stabs Urthstripe, killing him." Would be a twink, as Urthstripe has no chance to react to my move.
