Aye, I guess we will...

Actually, there's a bit more of the sword fight but since I wasn't here for that, you don't get to read it.
Characters Involved: Hallow, Skipper, Skyblaze, Shadowbow, Tovin

Camp Willow: Training Grounds: Sword Training
Shadowbow brings the second saber to block the low feint and continues it up the block the real strike, bringing his first saber across at the otter maids stomach level.

Hallow steps back and blocks the saber to the stomach with a flick and a twist of the sword aiming to twist the saber out of his paw or at least keep it off course before adding a sharp flick of the blade back on the defensive again.

Skipper gets tired of doing what hes doing and tosses the swords into the box and starts to leave "I'll be in my cabin if anyone needs me."

Shadowbow brings the other blade back into play with a slash about thigh level, almost loosing the parried one but regaining control, all the wile trying to keep the other on the defensive.

Hallow parries the blade heading at her thigh directing it away and up, she hits out at the other sword before coming round and slicing upwards across at Shadows middle.

Skipper continues to walk untill he is out of sight.

Shadowbow steps back looking at the otter maid, and looking up at the now mostly dark sky, and realizing that Skipper's gone, he lowers his swords, "You really should be proud of your skill."

Hallow flicks the wooden saber out of position and smiles "Thank you, you're not bad yourself" she looks about and finally notices Skipper's gone, she frowns a little trying to remember when he did and heads to the rack to replace the sword into it, she gives her opponent a brief nod "Maybe more practice another time" and starts to make her way back to Skippers cabin pausing briefly to make sure she's going the right way before heading off.

Hallow has left.
Skipper has left.

Shadowbow watches the otter maid go before he puts the practice sabers back on the weapons rack, sighing as he does so, and then he remembers something heading for the main grounds.

Tovin emerges onto the training grounds then, having heard from someone else that everyone was here for some reason. She looks around, wondering what exactly is going on and grins when she sees Shadowbow. "G'evening!"

Shadowbow jumps a little, looking up at the otter made with a grin, "'Ello!" he seems to hesitate a moment before he starts towards her, "Are you alright after earlier?"

Tovin nods her head. "Aye. I'm fine." She shrugs. "Just a bit of miscommunication."

Shadowbow nods, stopping a few steps away, "Oh," he looks her in the eyes and smiles, "Do you still want to tell me what you were going to earlier?"

Tovin meets his gaze for a second and then looks at the ground. "Eh. Actually, it's not as funny as it was before..." she doesn't continue assuming he knows what she's talking about.

Shadowbow nods, taking as step towards her as she looks down, concern hinting at his voice, "Oh....Tovin...." he takes a breath, "Is something wrong?"

Tovin looks back up, smiling at his concern. "No. Not anymore."

Shadowbow blushes slightly as she says this, seeming to relax a little despite this fact, but he doesn't quite know what to do from hear, un easy shyer self showing a little more.

Tovin sighs slightly, though not unhappily, and turns to look around the area. "So, what was all the excitement here earlier?"

Shadowbow shrugs, "I was brushing up on my saber skill, I've kind of neglected them being a sniper and all....." he admits, sounding slight embaressed.

Tovin grins. "Oh c'mon. I bet you were fine. Who was your opponent?"

Shadowbow nods, "Hallow...She seems to be the only other saber fighter in camp....."

"Aaah. She's an otter of many talents then." remarks Tovin. She turns back around and abruptly changes the topic, an odd habit of hers. "Three weeks, mate. I'm gonna be off my crutches in three weeks." Her eyes light up with anticipation and she grins.

Skyblaze has arrived.

Shadowbow grins, and then he thinks of something, "That means you only have three weeks to choose if you want to force me to stay here, or if you'll let me come with...." his ears droop a little, and he looks towards the ground a little.

Tovin's moment is shattered when she notices Shadowbow's downcast look. "Oh, don't do this to me now, mate!" she pleads.

Shadowbow looks up, catching her eyes, "I don't want to...but I don't want you to get hurt down there ether...."

Tovin takes a deep breath and thinks about this for a moment. Finally, "Look. It's three weeks away still and I won't leave without telling you first."

Shadowbow nods, "Alright," still concerned, which there's no hiding, and he sighs after a moment, "I didn't want to make things hard on you like this...."

Tovin tilts her head curiously. "It's my decision, mate. How're you making things hard?"

Shadowbow is mentally thrown off balance by this, blushing, "How do you always do that?"

Tovin blinks. "What? How do I do what?"

Skyblaze enters the training grounds, watching the two otters. He sat down on the ground near them, making sure that they didn't know he was here yet.

Shadowbow blinks, "Just shrug things off like that?"

Tovin frowns a little. "I..don't know. Never noticed it really..." She's quiet now, thinking about what he just said.

Shadowbow smiles a little, "I guess we'll figure it out some other time then...."

Tovin smiles with him. "Aye, I guess we will..."

Skyblaze has disconnected.

Shadowbow looks her in the eyes again, "then we can agree on something....."

Tovin matches his gaze. "And what is that?"

Shadowbow gives a grin, "We'll still see each other after tonight."

Tovin grins as well and laughs happily. "Aye, mate. That we will."

Shadowbow blushes a little more, "I'll walk you home....Unless you don't want me too."

Tovin nods to him. "Thank you, mate. If you don't mind."
