Jesmin Ki'Anana Sustati

Belonging to the Kiren extension of the Anana clan, who
roost in the forests that hug the eastern side of the mountain
range in the Western Lands. The Anana clan are a large group
of mostly grey and brown long eared bats. They are usually
nocturnal, peaceable creatures, preferring to seclude
themselves from other species. Their trade is mostly centered
around crafting jewelry, and lightly mining the deep mountains
of their gemstone deposits. Many are also known as having a
extraordinarily strong gift in foresight, a fact that has had
many a beast seeking them out.
Jesmin was born to a jeweler, her father, and an
exceptional seer, her mother. As a pup, she briefly had the
gift passed on by her mother, but as she grew it faded. She
now is left with only the occasional peculiar dream. Her
father then trained her into his trade. Jesmin, like the rest
of her clan, is a suspicious creature. She's bright, but
stubborn and proud. She highly values her ability to fly. Her
finest attribute is her voice, which can range from a soft,
hollow whisper, to a haunting spectral wail, and mind
shattering screeches that generally denote alarm.

Her lithe figure lended her good flight speed and
stamina, and she was recommended as a scout for the clan.
Only a season into her new role, Jesmin was sent to
communicate with another extension of the clan in concerns
of the annual gathering. It was on her return trip that her
life took an unfortunate turn. With a wing broken during the
wrestle of a previous night's storm, she wound up on the
property of a well-off ferret named Fenton. Lured by his
charm and offer of aid, she fell into a vicious trap that
would rob her of her freedom.
