Finally, Gynyvieve Sofftouch has accomplished her goal of joining the Long Patrol. Not an especially good fighter, Gynyvieve has incredible healing abilities, and the ability to play many instruments with such expertisse that she has avoided having to fight by using the small sitar that she always carries with her. Seven seasons ago, she was born to two gentle hares, Erodan and Emilia Softtouch. Her parents were killed by an evil searat named Splittongue when she was three seasons. She was raised by several different creatures in the wild Mossflower Forest, but is still civilized and inteligent. However, her prejudism spreads only to merciless rats, and her healing abilities stretch out to the rats who have forsaken the evil ways. Now her concerns are graduating to healer and solving the mystery of her purple eye and the rat who wanted her for it.
