What I can do are many things, you as the builder (or a builder if there are more) can ask me to help out or code somthing in your PORTAL area. For example, lets say you need a complex lock, desccription changes based on somthing, or perhaps a loud-speeker type device to send a warning message to all within an area you specify... there are many things that can be done, just don't ask me to build rooms, or objects.

I'm not a builder (although I do have access to change the Land&Regions section of the site), and this lets me go in and modify areas without worying about ownership/chown propertie

This is good, because all that is needed for MPI is props (and in some cases @link/@unlink and @name) which can be given access to me through the +lock system, this way I can't touch what you don't want me to, and I don't have any special abilities (ie. things like @take).

Now, as for people in NON-PORTAL areas, ask me for help on a program, how to get things working, locks etc... I'll get that working.

And for everyone, I have set up a forum in the "Programming Area" for questions to be asked about MPI and have been known to help people out. Just remember that can be found in tutorials and it's not as hard as it looks. To get there, go Programming Area -> Discussion and then the propper area (as of this posting, there is only one, more will come when there is more interest).
