A horde assassin in his youth, Fenton Jacquovar Bellows took to slaving part-time after his retirement. He is generally reticent, being on the wanted lists of both goodbeasts and vermin. When not on slaving trips or diplomatic missions, he resides at Holgrave House, his estate in Mossflower Woods.
With his perfect manners and kindly appearance, he is rarely perceived as a threat until it is too late. He is middle-aged, corpulent, and every bit as scholarly as he looks. His hobbies include chess, the viol, and astrology. The immaculate appearance of his private gardens is due in large part to his own efforts. In addition, he is an avid collector of curios, primarily furs and antique pipes.
His mate, Valentina DeQualette, has not been seen for some time. Rumors abound of her death, but no evidence has been found.
