Marleigh's Kidnapping

Gosh Darn. This can really ruin your day. Don't ya think?

----------------- Characters: Marleigh Drais ----------------- Date: August 28th 2004 ---------------- Location: Dunes upshore of mountain -----------------

Walking, cloaked and hooded, along the shore is Marleigh. She had kept to herself since realizing what she had gotten herself into. Her paw rests on her stomach, deep in thought.

He'd been lying behind a dune who knows how long, just staring in one direction, waiting for it to pay off. And here comes a certain cloaked figure... Drais squints one eye, staying low as he watches the figure approach.

Marleigh stops walking and sits down in the sand, looking out at the water. She sighs and looks around her slightly, before looking back out at the water.

Drais watches. Is that a hare? It's hard to tell with that hood and cloak on... He shifts a bit in the sand, watching from his vantage point on the sand dune. A dirk is unsheathed as he crawls forward, and rolls down stealthily and crawls up the next sand dune, now a half of a stone's throw away from Marleigh... Watching.

Can't breath. Stupid. Hood. She lowers it as she looks out at the water. Her paws go back to her stomach. What was she going to do?

Mmmm... it's a hare... That should be nice. He takes out a second dirk, and gives a slight cough... Then a hack, then another cough. Giving the image that somebeast needs help, on the other side of this dune. Heh.

Marleigh stands up. Hmm... "'Ello?" She makes her way towards the other side of the dune.

Drais lets out a small, painful groan, and a couple more coughs. He grips the handles of his dirks tightly, gives a loud cough, and rolls silently around the side of the dune, so when Marleigh reaches its crest... There won't be anybeast there.

Marleigh begins to get worried and hurries up. "Hello?!" She gets to the crest but sees no one. Hmm. Strange. Maybe she was turning into Dark.

Drais stands up, brushing himself off, dirks still in his paws. He's behind the doe now, grinning. "Something seem to be the matter?"

Marleigh turns around and just can't scream or anything. She starts to back away. Stay calm Marleigh. Stay calm.

Drais grins, still, taking a step forward to match each of the doe's movements backwards. "Say, what's wrong? You look simply -frightened.-"

Marleigh tries to scream. Meh. Can't. She just keeps backup up. But ofcourse. Trips and rolls down the dune.

Drais frowns, giving a weak chase down the dune. "No, really. I'm sure we can talk this through, you know, civilly. Tell me, what's wrong?"

Speak, Ah. Marleigh can. "Just...leave me alone." She gets up and starts walking back downshore.

"What? We're just getting to know each other..." As the doe turns her back, Drais hurls the knives at each of the doe's calves, attempting to keep her from walking any farther.

Marleigh screams as the knives enter her calves and she falls to the ground. She instantly starts crying, waving her paws at her calves. Must. Get. Knifes. Out.

Drais grins, chuckling in a victorious half-jog to stand over the doe. He rolls her over onto her back to stare back up at the sinister scowl he offers her. "Now, really. Let's just talk it out. I don't think you're going anywhere..."

Marleigh screams only louder, the knifes going deeper into her calves. Oh god. The baby. Please be okay. Please, please please. She's still crying her bloody eyes out.

Drais kneels down, giving the doe a big old kiss on the muzzle. "Sight for sore eyes, you are. Literally, sore, this sand will do quite the number on you, don't you think?"

Marleigh waves her paw quickly, hoping to give him a good hard slap. She only continues to cry. Ow. Pain.

Drais is slapped by the doe, and scowls down. "Feisty one, aren't you?" He leans down again, pinning the doe's paws this time, pressing his muzzle down to the doe's in a very deep, violent kiss, allowing the doe to taste his own foul breath and saliva.

Trying not to puke, and not kill herself, Marleigh brings a leg up and goes to give him a good 'ol knee in the crotch.

Drais's eyes bulge, and he rolls to the side, off of the doe, stunned a bit, stars flying in his vision. "Unnnngh!"

Marleigh reaches for the knifes and rips them out as carefully as she can without thinking...which isn't very carefully. And, in her stupidity, throws them in the other direction.

Drais is starting to recover from the knee to the crotch, and rolls back over to pin Marleigh down again. "You... will pay... for that!" He brings his forearm down to smash against Marleigh's face.

Marleigh holds back a scream as his forearm comes in contact with her face and her head is slammed to the side, but that doesn't keep her from crying. What did she do to deserve this?

Well, wandering around alone and unarmed when there's a slaver looking out for lone unarmed beasts doesn't help your chances at all, does it? XD Drais brings his forearm down again to crash against the side of the doe's head.

Marleigh screams. God. This. Um. Sucks. Where was Rurun? He was supposted to protect her and be there for her no matter what. Oh god. What if she never saw him again? What if he killed her and the baby.

Drais raises his paw to slam down again, but his eyes dart down long enough to notice a certain... rounding around her midsection... Ooooh yes... He chuckles evilly, unsheathing a third dagger and letting it dangle above the doe's stomach, looking up to Marleigh. "What have we here?"

Marleigh just gives him a plain look of horror. Please. No. Don't. She starts crying only harder. Please God no.

Drais winks at the doe, tapping the dagger point on the fur there without piercing anything. "You're coming with me. Cry for help, and... Well..." He presses slightly harder, still not enough to pierce, but...

Marleigh only nods through her tears. Please don't kill the baby. Please. Let the baby live.

Drais keeps the dagger pressed there as he leans up to give her another deep, smelly, rotten kiss. "So pretty... I almost feel bad for doing this. Almost."

Marleigh simply glares at him. Heh. Death glare. Jerk. -Hate- you. Kill my baby and I will make sure you are killed.

Drais glares back. Who's the one in power again? Let him remind you. He applies a bit more pressure at the knife. "You're coming with me..."

Lashes out and kills. Oh wait. That's only what Marleigh sees in her head. Darn. She screams slightly and nods.

Drais takes back his knife, and sheaths it, walking over to grab the other two and putting them in their places, as well. "Good. Sorry about your legs, hopefully you'll still be able to walk. Hate to see what happened to your child there if you couldn't."

HATE YOU! Ahem. Yes. Very well. Marleigh tries to rise to her paws. Heh. No luck. But she does make a very good scream.

Anger crosses his features and tone, and all facades of politeness are thrown away. "I swear I'll run a dagger right through your unborn child if you don't stand up and start walking, NOW!"

Marleigh cries and gets up, but waits for directions as to... ahem, which direction she's supposted to start walking in. She continues crying.

Drais spreads his unnatural smile across his face, and begins to walk... At least he moves slowly enough for the injured doe to keep up. "Follow me, and stop CRYING!"

Marleigh stops almost insantly, following him. Wincing, and holding back the sobs building up in her throat ofcourse.

"...You're walking too SLOW!" Drais turns and swings a clenched paw to collide with Marleigh's face, sending her to the ground. "Grrr... Get -up- you useless bag of rubbish! Walk!"

Marleigh scurries to her paws and walks faster.

Drais looks over his shoulder at the doe. "Keep walking! You're slacking off!"

Marleigh tries to hurry up, and does. But she can't hold back the sobs anymore and she starts crying again. This sucks. This will teach her to leave the mountain.

Drais stops, completely. "Why are you crying?? Stop it!" He unsheathes a dirk and slams it into her shoulder, pulling it out quickly and kicking her to the ground in the same motion, wiping the weapon on his clothes before sheathing it again. "Get up, stop crying, and follow me!"

Marleigh cries. "I...can't..." She tries to stand up, but falls. Dude. Pick one. Keeping up or not crying. You can't have both.

Drais growls in anger, springing upon the doe and kneeling heavily on her chest, pinning her down. "We'll rest, then. But if you don't step it up in the morning, your baby's a goner, you hear that?" To accentuate this, he takes a dagger and strikes the top of her head with its hilt.

Marleigh is knocked out. Hopefully to drift away to happy-bouncy dreams.
